The Give Girls Pads Project:

We continue to conduct the GGP Project in the West Nile region together with Amani Initiative our partners. We have so far trained about 150 girls and young women on how to make their own reusable sanitary towels in three sub-counties of Arua district that is River Oli Division in Arua Municipality, Pajulu and Oluko Sub-Counties in Ayivu County Arua district.

Initiative to End Teenage Pregnancies and Early Marriages: 

This is a multi-media campaign often dependent on the availability of financial resources.  We facilitate bi-monthly radio talk shows and periodic spot messages against teenage pregnancies and early marriages.

Girls' Health Talk

The Girls’ Health Talk is an annual initiative  undertaken as part of the of the Young African Leader’s Initiative (YALI) Network Mandela Week aimed at breaking barriers to girls’ access to education related to their physical characteristics and conditions as per the stereotypes in society. The Girls' Health Talk seeks to unearth and demystify the stereotypes that contribute to this.

ReWater

We appreciate that 51% of people in Uganda do not have access to clean and safe water for domestic use. Under this project, Feminature Uganda is designing and soon piloting the project to reduce wastage of water at household levels in fulfillment of the SDG 6 of Clean Water and Sanitation
